Lucas Pond
Lucas Pond: (52 acres) This charming pond is
known throughout the east for its prize trout fishing, namely rainbow
and brown trout. Gasoline motors are banned from Lucas Pond, a fact
that is cherished by most of the residents, as it is a very quiet
place. Camp Yavneh, the summer camp maintained by Boston College, has
had a long and well-known history with Lucas Pond.
